Browser files and proxy server

The browser settings define which browser (if you have installed more than one) is to be used to open help files.
HD Media Database tries to connect to the internet to retreive further information especially for video objects. If a proxy server shall be used the appropriate settings can be configured here.
Go to the menu File → Connect via proxy to turn on or off the proxy connection for this application quickly.
This option might be of interest if the application runs for instance on an USB stick and one computer (for instance in an office) just allows the connection to the internet via a proxy server and the other computer connect to the internet without a prox server (at home).
